My power keeps going in and out, computer shutting off.  We aren't used to COLD!!!!
watch out - stuff like that could kill some of the computer parts, such as the mother board - be careful!! It's probably better to wait until this problem goes away (or maybe it's a constant thing..?)

Ready set ACTION.
Weather looks not too bad, nice and cool for a heated confrontation or two..
Looking forward to some new clips..

Quote
When the dog catches the man, bite on the sleeve or suit, I slip it and keep running, putting as much prey movement as I can. The handler gives the send command and encourages the dog to pursue the fleeing/flailing man. If needed the decoy can run in kind of a circ
After some repetitions most dogs will start dropping it pretty quickly. I feel like this is the best approach because it is the dogs prey drive that makes him want the sleeve in the first place. Prey drive is one of the strongest drives in most dogs. Especially Mals. lol

Yes prey drive is the strongest, especially in Mals..
Where and when does fight drive come into play ?
Can we say that a high fight drive K9 will focus on Man and naturally let go of sleeve and pursue 'helper'.
So would it be fair to say that 'fight drive' is what we're after, rather than prey drive ?

Approaches with confidence and looks positive for early stages of training..
Have you considered doing hidden sleeve for more of a focus on MAn ?

ati luat in considerare si lucrul cu mansonul ascuns, in vederea focusarii mai bine asupra OMULUI?

Dux deja mi-a spus ca vrea sa comenteze asupra folosirii mansonului ascuns, va posta ceva mai tarziu

Is it me, or isn't it VERY cool to finally see real work on a dog board...with training focused on something besides fantasy?
Especially with this fine breed, almost ruined by people breeding away from reality?   Very cool Dux...hope to see more and more videos.

Dux is no short guy to wrestle, Nero done well..
Would it be better that Dux played dead at the end of session, to reward Nero for winning the wrestle..

Nice work, and what fine looking GSD's! Great muzzle work, very good job of decoying. You are lucky to have use of this one! :ihi:

To the bone? Really,   I can be pretty critical and very opinionated. Well here goes. Really very good work! I am so impressed with the things I see in your dogs that I would tend to believe are genetic also!  :CG:     Really only one little thing I noticed. One at one point in the first video, the sleeve was slipped and the decoy became passive and the action seemed to stop for no other reason than that. In my opinion if the dog is sent, and the sleeve is slipped and the dog has not been given a control command, ie platz, here etc, the dog should still be trying to get the guy. You have not called the dog off and If I asked a dog to get some one, wether some article of their dress has come off or not, wether they have gone passive or not, if I have not given the dog an opposing command, he should still be trying to get the guy.And I would want my decoy to help teach this by, after a shot time of being passive, re-stimulate the dog by stinging with the whip, or going into some kind of stimulating motion.
