Thanks guys, he has really brightened up my days around here, owning a cool puppy like he is.  I will take things nice and slow with him.

Well, Goku will be 8 months old in two days.  He's getting very tall and he is such a great pup!!

With some exceptions, he looks like he's taking after Axa. I bet he barks like Axa, too. Happy also looks like his mom and barks like her as well. He looks a bit funny with such long legs and body, Axa went through an exact "season" in her youth. Give it a few more months, get some popcorn and watch Goku change some more

And just for fun sake, can I re-create a question someone asked you recently: "how the h... do you expect to win confirmation with a straight back like that????????"    if someone asked me that question, I would laugh my head off....

Cu ceva exceptii, pare sa semene mai mult cu Axa. Pun pariu ca latra ca ea. Asa e si Happy. Goku arata amuzant cu picioarngele alea, Axa a trecut si ea printr-o perioada de-asta in tineretea ei. Mai asteapta cateva luni, cu ceva popcorn in brate si urmareste cum Goku se schimba in continuare
Roger, iti dai seama cat ai asteptat pana sa mai postezi o poza?   
Si de dragul amuzamentului, da-mi voie sa te intreb si eu ce te-a intrebat cineva nu demult:  "Cum anume te astepti sa castigi in show de frumusete cu un spate asa drept???????    daca m-ar intreba cineva pe mine lucrul asta, as rade pana mi-ar cadea capul de pe umeri..

The picture before last, with Collin in the frame - Goku looks like he definitely got his dam's head look, although I remember he was shooting for a much thicker neck and muzzle; it will be interesting to note the next changes in terms of looks.

Its nice to be back again. Actually, Roger and I exchanging emails awhile ago and trying to update each other. Since same here its been awhile since the last time I posted in this forum.

So funny after I mentioned in Roger's FB that Goku looks like Axa..Somebody pop the same question "how the h... do you expect to win confirmation with a straight back like that???????? How I wish I can slam on his face my answers. But I dont gave a damn getting back to him about his post.

What I am trying to underline though is, I would want my dog to look as described in the breed survey, not WIN conformation shows, for all I care conformation shows was what pulled the breed down anyway.

well.. I guess people have different values when it comes to dogs, to some, conformation show is IT.. still, it always makes me laugh when I read a question like that, especially when so many question marks follow (literally) 
You mentioned Axa - just to say, Axa was granted top marks in conformation, by German judge - this is the event

Goku is a tall type of dog and has similar fine coat as Axa which gives him more of a sleek look, generally taller dogs are more slim overall and this i believe is better for there hips and elbows IMO..
Good to hear Roger your happy with his Goku's character..
