Thanks Kangdanlin!   You can see him "smiling" a lot!

Santos, thanks...I am very pleased with him, I think he will look great, too.

he definitely has his sire's neck. From the side his head looks like Axa's, but not the same about the front view. He looks so good with ears up  :)
His body seems to be more like the sire's, Axa has a more harmonious build. It will be interesting to monitor the final "product"  ;)

Thanks guys.  Leo, I hope Draga is doing well!!

The ears do make a difference, don't they?     John gave me the suggestion to get him some knucklebones to strengthen his jaws and the muscles around his ears.   John knows what he's talking about!!  ;)   Within the week his ears were standing.

He is very thick with heavy bone, and his chest is so deep it almost feels abnormal to me to run my hands down his rib cage from both sides.  He is going to go for another parvo booster maybe Monday, and then I will start getting him out of the yard.  I have a feeling he will never be social to anyone but his family, just a gut feeling.   I think he will grow to be very socially aggressive and territorial.  He likes the other dogs ok (to sniff noses through the fence) but he can't tolerate them getting close to his kennel where his toys or food is.  He loves to watch Drago play with all his extreme drive, he thinks Drago is cool.

I second that, i followed John's advice, within days Briska's ears were standing 100%

First day of collar, leash and walking.  He did great.  Very good nerve.   Looking at these pics, it doesn't really show how big he's getting.  He's so thick, that he doesn't look as tall as he is in reality.  He is about knee high now, growing a lot, daily.

Goku loves Brogan's bed beside Collin's.....but he also likes biting the curtains. lol

Looking really nice with his build and thicker coat, which has the type of look which was more common in the 80's.
Should be very impressive as an adult, much like the Sire..
Just wondering if he has responded in defense to any strangers ?

arata f bine cu structura pe care o are si parul gros, aspectul mai des intalnit in anii 80.
cu siguranta va fi impresionant ca si adult, ca tatal lui..
ma intrebam, a reactionat in aparare fatza de straini?

Thanks you guys!!!

Yes, he has already acted in a defensive manner towards the Airconditioner repairmen that were in my driveway.    His tail was up and he was barking at them right at the fence as close as he could get, like all the other dogs.   He is next to Drago, learning that behavior, but I know for a fact it's in his genetics very strong.

I will be looking forward to watching / viewing the first protection sessions, when the time comes (presuming in another 6 months from now..)

imi place ce aud / citesc..
abia astept sa vad primele clipuri cu antrenamente de protectie, la vremea potrivita (peste aprox 6 luni, banuiesc...)

This pup is full of natural suspicion of all people but me.   I believe he needs to see people are NOT a threat to him or me for a long time and until he's mature enough to handle the truth, even if he suspects the truth now.   Then he will be a man, and it won't matter.  It's in him.   Just riding in a vehicle with me, seeing the world outside our little space will up his genetic predisposition for protection.   Walking through the park full of people will show him that just because someone is standing there, doesn't mean they need to be bitten.
I have not made up my mind between training him to be a machine that has great OB or just letting him be a dog with minimum OB and minimum bite training. ..minimum until he's mature and then test him.    I am leaning towards the latter, because I don't think we can really see a dog for what he is if he is baby stepped through training stages.   If I just leave him as a dog to see the true dog, he may very well convince me that he needs to be bred upon.  If he is what I think he is, there aren't many like him, around here anyway.  From what I see now, he is a one man wall dog.  And that ain't bad.  :)
