Exista pe facebook un grup numit Raw Feeding Dog Breeders in care am gasit urmatorul post:
I have German Shepherd Dogs and breed under the Kennel Name SentinelHarts. I have been breeding dogs since about 2000. I started in another breed but decided on Shepherds in 2007. I began feeding raw in 2010. I am a big fan of raw and recommend it to my clients. I am also understanding of the buyers who just aren't ready to make a switch and for those, I suggest grain free food.
I have had a difficult time finding a veterinarian who will support the raw diet (although I believe this will change in the next 5 years) I have interviewed several vets about this and have asked why they are so opposed to it. Most tell me that the AVMA can not advocate a raw diet because the USDA does not support it and it is a trickle down effect.
I have heard many reasons why they do not support a raw diet, including the following
*dogs are not carnivores anymore
*there is no way to know if the dog is getting a complete diet
*bacterial and contamination/sanitation issues
*Its not safe/ concerns of gi tract perforation
I have asked if there are any documented studies on the short and long term effects of raw feeding and none of the vets I have asked could provide reference to any.
I have asked my vets for anything published on the subject (positive or negative) and have found none.
My current vet has told me this- Proctor and gamble has recently taken over the company that produces Nature's Variety raw patties. She believes this company will do a diet trial in the next few years in an effort to become the leading raw diet company.
This is good news- once studies are done, and something is being produced that will have some documented studies behind it, then veterinarians will begin to support it.
While I don't personally care if vets support it, it is better for my clients when they take their new puppy to the vet and they don't have to listen to a lecture about their opinion of why it is terrible.

Ditu Constantin Vicentiu Dogs are not carnivores, they are omnivorous, if you give to a dog a rabbit, you will see that first he opens its stomac and eats the content.I"m not agree to feed a dog with industrial food, but dogs need meat, vegetables, fish, eggs.I feed my dogs with homemade food in the past (and I"m doing it again), all of them lived over 13-14 years.
Replica:
Camilla Hart I actually have noticed they eat the head first and normally "shake" the guts out before eating them. I thought there was a study done on this but I have not been able to find it anywhere

As dori sa aud parerile voastre referitoare la subiect.Cateaua mea a omorat iepurele vecinilor in toamna, acestia mil-au adus si au pretins sa-l platesc, in fine.L-am aruncat unui maidanez si chiar m-amuitat sa-l vad ce face pentru ca am citit undeva acest lucru, cainele intai mananca ce gaseste in stomac.Chiar asta a facut !
