de venit va veni in curand si va prinde o "tranzitie"; oricum era riscant sa calatoreasca cu avionul in perioada asta a anului, unele companii aeriene nici nu ingaduiau transportul animalelor vii acum cand am fost eu, decat dupa .. nu mai stiu cat, Septembrie.

daca acolo sunt aproximativ 25 si aici prinde un 20 sau 17 grade, nu e chiar asa mare diferenta, se poate adapta relativ usor cred

ar trebui sa ajunga aici in aprox 2 sapt, eu zic ca va fi inca destul de cald.. ieri era lume pe plaja, apa e inca super, ceva mai rece dar numa' buna de baie.

Si Briska, atunci cand am adus-o inca mai avea urechile mai "soft", iar pt Hun nu-mi fac nici o problema, e inca "ciutan".
De adus sper sa-l aduc undeva in a 3a saptamana a lui Octombrie, am de facut un drum in Germania in curand si urmatoarea "miscare" e aducerea lui Hun.  Deja mi-e un dor nebun de el...

pai depinde de cativa factori, in principal genetica si dieta. Functie de astea, urechile se pot ridica f devreme sau tarziu. la cei "setati genetic" sa se faca exemplare mai mari, urechile se ridica ceva mai "lent", cel putin din ce stiu eu. Iar legat de dieta, este perioada aia in care creste rapid in inaltime, schimba dintii.. iar astea papa calciu la greu, probabil de-aici si obiceiul de a "indopa" catelul cu calciu - dar aici as avea ceva de comentat, pt ca nu-s de-acord cu pompatul calciului in catel, daca are o dieta sanatoasa, din capul locului.

PS - voi traduce ce ai spus si ce am spus, pt ca mai citeste John topicul lui Hun si sa-l ajut sa inteleaga.

well I guess it depends on a few factors, mainly genes and diet. based on those, the ears could either stand very soon or later in time. In the case of the pups that will grow bigger than the average GS dog, the ears will stand erect late, from what I know. And as far as diet, well there's that time length where changing teeth and fast height and length growth that requires calcium and I guess that's when help is needed - still, I personally have a problem with those who stuff the pup with calcium during that time, but that's a different story.

Hun has a well conditioned body and plenty of confidence/character by his expression..
I could imagine the way you must feel having him home..
His ears and head looks to be from the Sire side, no probs in being firm and erect.
As for the extra calcium in diet, we would do more harm than good..
Few beef and chicken bones during the week, along with a daily feed of dry food would be plenty of calcium..

Oh yes, when I took him from John, to Tampa, being away from home for first time, new surroundings, new faces etc, he had no problem whatsoever. Also meeting Sheba, the Cane Corso who "slammed" him a few times when playing, I got scared but he didn't. Still, i didn't let them play together as she is big and heavy, it hurt me when she bumped into my thigh so I imagined she could easily harm a 4 month old pup, even though just playing.
Home... he is not here with me yet, but not too long from now!
