I think in the years to come we will cry these dogs out of reality. There are still some left, scattered in various backyards or military units, around Eastern Europe..

John did you notice how these dogs (in the pictures) have a different structure than the more recent east dogs? Straighter backs, dryer muscles (I think) and an overall different look about them.

I checked the Vom Sirius website, some nice blocky old style looks indeed. I see they got some of their dogs from Vonforell.
I also had a look at this Drago dog http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=624708 his grandma is Bella. I wish I could see some videos of these dogs, looking good in still images but can't really tell how good or hard workers they are.
I wish there were a more recent picture of V Sirius Alpha.

Yeah well Drago is linebred 3-2 on Bella..
And from what i heard another young male V Sirius Adolf who at 11 months of age is really seriously thick boned and has true DDR look about.This young male is 4,3-5 on Bella and from what i was told he is thick boned and robust..
I thought Casso was big boned and all but nothing compared to these lines mentioned..
But in all honesty i wouldn't swap big bones and mass for bad ass attitude in a dog..
Von Forell Amber, Abra and Aria who i believe would be the better of the three bitches, seems to be favoured by
Von Forell Kennels..And they are linebred 5 - 5 on Held you know who...
