nope, I used different soundtracks, it's probably the drums that make you think it's one and the same  

Just to say, some of the dogs in the video have the same bloodlines as Goku's sire.

I thought so they would be from the same era, be interesting to see if these genetics come through and passed onto Goku..
Be interesting to hear what Roger has to say of young Goku, in terms of suspicious awareness towards strangers..

I am sure Goku has in him a share of that, he had his "moments" when he was here with me, twice at night while the other pups were playing, he was somewhat more alert and came towards the fence barking with low pitch voice and tail up. I wish I kept quiet and just enjoy the sight, but as I praised him saying "bravo" he was distracted actually, and came to me in a play mood, his body language switched from "defense" to "play" in an instant - my mistake, I should have kept quiet. Late Dino was more relaxed, not as alert, but he was bossing everyone else around. I am looking forward to seeing the first videos of Goku in protection work.

Let me unpack that for you:
There was the school from Ciorani (pictures below) where they had all these great dogs brought in the country from our neighboring / former Communist countries (but the dogs were brought in during the Communist times, not after) such as (former) Czechoslovakia, DDR or even Russia. The dogs were trained there, to some extent bred and many of them were seconded to various Militia / Military units around the country. We're talking old school here, straight back, big chest (look at all the dogs in the video) low to medium drive (loads in some cases) not necessarily tall but strong type. Self confidence was big plus, as most modern GS dogs lack that.

Ca sa intelegi mai bine - a existat scoala de la Ciorani, unde rau adusi caini din fostele tari comuniste (dar inca sub Comunism in perioadele in care erau adusi cainii) cum ar fi fosta Cehoslovacie, RDG sau chiar Rusia. La centrul de la Ciorani se pregateau caini care ulterior erau trimisi la diferite puncte militienesti sau militare, din tara. Vorbim de caini din garda veche, spate drept, cutie toracica mare, drive de la putin spre mediu (mult in unele cazuri) nu neaparat inalti dar grosi, puternici, increzatori in fortele propri, lucru care cam lipseste la CG-ul mai modern.
In pozele de mai jos il poti vedea pe Dux si pe un bun prieten al lui, Catalin Cornea.

Goku is territorial, suspicious but not in a scared way.   I have a feeling he will be a very strong dog.  He just needs socialization ....not people hugging on him, but just seeing that people are many and varied.

Goku e teritorial, suspicios dar nu din teama. Cred ca va fi un caine foarte puternic. Are doar nevoie de socializare... nu sa fie mangaiat de oameni, dar sa fie in preajma lor, sa vada ca sunt multi si diferiti.
Astea sunt poze faine cu tipul de caine pe care mi-l doresc. Ah da, am deja unul!
