Frumos, rasele utilitare care au fost odata, am fost acu 2 ani la o expozitie in iasi si am trecut pe langa un caucazian imens care era legat de janta unei dubite, mai avea putin si lua masina dupa el,rau tare cainele, imi place mul si rasa asta.!

are Santos niste caucazieni.. lasa ca o sa-i filmez cand mai ajung pe-acolo, are o catea, zici ca e mixata cu Terminator. Mare si rea.. te face sa-ti uzi pantalonii numai cand o auzi cum latra..

Anul asta am fost la radauti la o expozitie de club numai de ciobanesti de bucovina, numai caini de frumusete atat ,nu dadeai doi bani pe ei, dar au venit niste ciobani cu vreo trei exemplare care m-au speriat ,unul dintre ei chiar era sa ma inhate, pe ei nu-i primeau in expoztiei ca chipurile nu corespund standardului, dar cainii erau dezastru si pe fizic si pe temperament, iar oitele noastre se plimbau prin ring si schiorlaiu unul la altul. Si faceam diferenta intre cainele de stana cu temperament ca doar asa trebuiau sa fie toti si oitele din ring care ii alergai prin jur.Daca ciobanii le dadea drumul la cainii aia faceau prapad acolo, aia se bateau si cu ursul asa nerv aveau in ei.

off topic.. mi-e dor de Radauti (Maneuti).. acolo mi-am petrecut vacantele de vara cand eram ciutan, acolo am prins dragostea pt caini si sport...

Si pe la mine in oras prin anii aia ce rase de caini aveam doamne,incepand de la doberman ,rottweiler, boxer ,pitbull si ciobanesc german, ne adunam cu totii in parc si ne haraiam cainii, am avut caini grei tare.

Well, I love our AB/NEO bandogs (and in fact love my line of ABs and the Neo line I got from S. Africa), but I wanted a few more things.  I wanted a dog that was super easy to train, one that had no bite inhibition (and herders all have less inhibition to bite a man than bull or mastiff breeds, by only degrees sometimes but consistently IMO), and something that had no stigma attached to owning anything that could be thought of as a "pit bull".   I also came from a family that raised real deal Dobermanns back in the 70s and I loved those dogs.   The Dutch Riker (a type of dog, not a breed for a long time) has some correlation to the Dobermann, in that I used Dutch Shepherd instead of the old Thuringian Shepherd dog, and the AB/Bandog instead of Bullenbeiser.  There were other breeds that Louis Dobermann used, but I will not use anything else in the Riker dogs, I will only outcross.   We have used the Nitro Dutch Shepherd first; next will be Bodhy, an imported KNVP dog  that works for the police department, next, to a Dutch Riker female.   Then a male that is out of two half siblings, both sired by Arko.   And then back to a linebred Nitro male in two years.   We have all the 3/4 AB x 1/4 Bandog females I will need in my lifetime, two 50/50 AB/NEO bandogs, the line bred Neos from my original blood from S. Africa and can take this project into the future easily now, although it took me 17 years to get here.   If at any point the dogs are not better than anything I have seen, I will always have my foundation breeds and the best GSDs I can find.   But I think the Riker dogs will be something unique, and we are all excited about them.   

Hey Roger, whay not say a few words about this Dutch Ryker project, let the guys know what you're up to.  GS dog or not, deep down we love the working dog.
I know Santos has had various dogs of different breeds, he could add to this topic.

Roger, de ce nu ne spui maim multe despre proiectul tau Dutch Ryker, sa stim cam ce intentii ai. CG sau nu, cu toti apreciem un caine de lucru.
Santos a avut caini din mai multe rase, el poate contribui aici in topic.

The attributes should be the heart and power of the bulldog, the defensiveness and power of the mastino, and the known attributes of a great KNPV line Dutch Shepherd; speed, willingness to bite man, trainability, etc.
Health is tested and proven in all foundation through work.
