Just wondering do you think the eyes were much darker in dog's like Zorro and his ancestors, these days the eyes have lightened up..
 Dark eyes and dark pigmentation looks 'old school' and gives it that touch  expression..

I wouldn't know about that.. You are right, many of the current DDR dogs have this type of eyes or eye color.

Hun has more on the dark colour i would say, i think Venus has darker eye..
To me i personally like the darker eye colour, and would not like to bring (light) eye into the genes..

Well to be honest I am not looking to line breed on Wartenberg dogs, not in the near future anyway (if one was to say the lighter eyes was in that gene pool).
