Roger she is all i could ever wanted in terms of build, she is not as civil as I would want but that's not a problem for me. I mean, she is in no way whatsoever friendly to people entering her property, don't get me wrong, but she is not as "aggressive" as I would like when she is out on the streets. Than again, that may as well mean I want a choleric dog plus she is still young.. It's very hot over here but yes I will also start some protection sessions, just basic stept of sharpening her reaction (no bite yet). One thing I do like abut her when she bites is, she "fights" the sleeve, whereas Hun bites and only fights at some point, but his quality is, if you manage to really "make his day", something goes "tick" inside his mind and turns very, very civil and the look in his eyes says "you're mine".

That sounds good on both of them, because it most likely means you can train them any which way you want to.  For me, I like the fact that Goku fires up first, but settles after I have talked to someone ...the other day Lt. Mack (the owner of Cato, that Czech dog) came over and I met him on the road.  As soon as he got out of his truck in the road in front of my house Goku went ballistic.  I made him sit and in a minute he calmed down but kept his eye on him.  I did not let him touch him.  But, the day before that I walked him right up to a lady who was sitting down and he did great with her.   Now, Drago would have bitten her.   I don't want another Drago that cannot be turned off.   I believe Goku is going to be a better dog.

That's exactly the point I try to make when I use the term "choleric". I am very tempted to believe west line dogs are like that. One would think it's a civil dog.. I would likely say.. um, nope, choleric. UNLESS the dog was conditioned to have a go at anyone coming close to him or the owner, that makes total sense and responsibility is in  the hands of the owner/trainer, not genetics.
