she is very protective of the yard .. but most of all, she is very childish and playful and as you can imagine, I play A LOT with her and I love it! :)
I am gradually falling in love with the old DDR looks.. Some of the Czech dogs also have the typical DDR look as far as I can see on the internet...

Dani the side by side photos you can see the difference in the Blood. Briska looks like the old type GSD.

John, that coming from you, makes me appreciate this pup even more.
Also, when we play and she grabs my arm, I can tell the jaw strength is there.

Yes many have a good grip. You are dealing with a immature dog now and thing should get slowley better. I would work with her rags and tugs . I would also give her large beef bones to strengthen the jaw mussels and get the ear straight

Am already doing both things, just to help improve her grip. At nearly 6 months of age, I am impressed with her strength. Also she has a deep bark for a pup this old / young. I am really looking forward to noticing particularities that would be attributed to the DDR blood.

Dani
This is what i would look for as Briska is maturing. Level of Suspicion- Civil and Social Aggression. And remember this can take some time cause many many of the ddr dogs are slow to mature. Enjoy the ride Dani you now own a real DDR dog

You know it will take 2 years for Briska to become as Dark in coat color

Thank you John!
Oh, it's even better to know the color will go yet darker! I already like the current color (sable - brown). Level of suspicion - that is already in place, when Dux looked after her for the first time, while I was gone, she stepped back and barked defensively at him and then eventually made friends with him, as he looked after her for 3 days. Well I will definitely enjoy this ride!
