La o tensiune ca aia vazuta in filmare, cred ca si cainii care se cunosc intre ei s-ar lua la bataie, Hun si Briska s-au incins doar pt ca a intrat un straniero in curte si s-a facut putin la ei.. Oricum, sunt convins ca momente de-astea au loc din cand in cand, la tam tam-uri de-astea de strada.

da..e tensiune acolo...cainii aia nu stiu ca ei sunt politisti si restul sunt golani....ei reactioneaza doar dupa instincte...si ...intotdeauna instinctele sunt mai puternice ca orice dresaj. e explicabil si scuzabil ce au facut....cainii erau stresati si nervosi. Cainele meu s-ar omori cu ai altor colegi..ei nu stiu ca sunt colegi

I believe in what you say, arms are arms. And legs are legs.. Not much difference from one Man to the next, especially in a riot situation we like to imagine..
That black dog must have some firm genetic grip, running through his veins...!!

Eu cred ca apar si situatii de-astea iar la viteza cu are se intampla lucrurile nah, se mai intampla sa nu ai contro deplin, moment de momoent, asupra anumitor factori dar deh, nu am experienta de teren, e doar o parere. Dar cainii imi plac, una peste alta nu sunt caini care sa dea semne de "vreau la mama", tinand cont de forfota / presiunea evenimentului.

A police dog is recovering after being struck by a brick in the Tottenham riots and suffering a fractured skull.

Three-year-old German Shepherd Obi was with trainer Constable Phil Wells in the midst of the violence last weekend when he was hit by one of the many missiles aimed at police.

Constable Wells said the incident was "very emotional" and that seeing Obi struck was like watching his "best friend and colleague" injured.

He said: "Obi is trained in public order, and that may be dispersing a crowd or pushing them back.

"We were on a stationary point when we came under heavy bombardment. There were lots of missiles coming at us, bottles, bricks, petrol bombs, street furniture, too many to count and one hit Obi on the top of the head.

"Initially he was a bit shocked but I gave him a checkover and tried to avoid any further injuries and after the initial shock he seemed fine so we carried on for another couple of hours.

"Afterwards he was assessed and was showing signs he needed veterinary help. He was lethargic and was bleeding from the left nostril which could be a sign of head trauma so he was taken to the vets and assessed and the vet was not happy about the impact he had had so he was transferred to the Royal Veterinary School in Cambridge for a CT scan.

"That showed he had a fractured skull above the left eye socket."

Obi was treated for his injuries and is now on medication, and signed off work, until he recovers.

His only outward sign of injury is a small shaved patch above his left eye where vets checked for bruising.

Obi has lived in Surrey with Constable Wells, his wife Laura and children Abigail, seven, and Thomas, three, since he was eight weeks old and is seen as one of the family.

The officer said: "To see your best friend and work colleague get injured while at work is difficult but he is getting a lot support from everyone and he will be back fighting fit.

"I spend more time with Obi sometimes than with my children and family. When I am at work, he is at work and when I am at home, he is at home.

"He is my best friend and to see him get injured, to see him on a theatre table and you're not sure what has happened and you're not sure if it's touch and go, of course it is very emotional."
