Both Pele & Bronco have good sire line. There are not many offspring around to compare.I know Pele was a very large male(Grey) and he has a real tuff son here(imported) Charly Vom Dreiangel-http://http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/518769.html
Normal size. Bronco had 1 son i seen small male.My Enno was 26-27" @ 6 months old
But my opinion is the females being bred to make the size and type difference at
least in the Pele - Bronco case

Notice Neuaman Jim daughter SG Gill von Den Hugenotten was only used to 2 particular stud dogs, especially SG+ Dux vom Haus Kading  Was this in order to do an outcross or would you say for other reasons... In comparison when mated to Don V Haus Iris, the litter was 4-3 on Don v Rolandsteich..
 Although with both litters there is plenty of Don and Jim influence, both in colour and SIZE !!!!

Dux vom Haus Kading was used because she owned him.In that time most dogs were heavy line bred. My opinion that is why you seen so many of the same type.With a out cross or to continue to out cross you would lose the type. Many german people used dogs that were in  their village or very close by.Very few breeders would go any distance to use a stud.But it that time there were many ddr dogs.as compared to today

Thanks should be given to those who preserve the unique DDR dog, and John is definanently one of those few individuals who can give us an insight of classic DDR dogs..! Thanks Dani for your assistance and info you have provided in a short space of time, i think you should be next to get involved in the preservation of the DDR breed..

oh man I love that dog to bits! She is phenomenal! She looked impressive in pictures but boy is she something in real life! I had to keep my distance from the fence as i was filming, or else she was going to jump over and have me for dinner!

imi place la nebunie cateaua asta! este fenomenala! Arata impresionant in fotografii dar e si mai si "pe viu"! A trebuit sa-mi tin distanta fatza de gard altfel sarea si ma halea, dresorul de langa mine imi tot amintea sa nu ma apropiu prea mult.
