yeah.. well that can be misinterpreted I think.. Just like to some people "balanced" dog means dog that is calm, has no social aggression.

Well Dani that is a great photo of Bero.  For people who breed these dogs
you need to look back at the old dogs. We learn from what happened in the

well yeah! especially when you think that the more recent dogs, are not what we once loved to see in a GS dog!! It is always important to know where you are coming from, in order to know where you are headed and sometimes you need to go back I think...

pai da! mai ales ca in cainii moderni nu prea mai gasesti ce gaseai candva in cainii "vechi"!! este intotdeauna bine sa stii de unde vii, ca sa stii unde mergi, iar cateodata trebuie sa te intorci inapoi, din cate vedem in zilele noastre..

Hello John i did not know this about the Sven/Sindy ban.. Doesnt sound too good with all these negative results..
But this pic of Treu has really got that Nostalgic look about him..

Dani that photo of Bero really is DDR Size and Bone.
Have some pics of Casso which resemble Bero.
Bero is on Casso Maternal Side 6 generations back. .
I know its a bit way back, but the size was there on young Casso..

The SV stopped them from breeding to many problems in the offspring. Now Treu is a great looking dog he was used a lot i have seen Czech dogs with Treu line breedings 4,4,5,5.
And If i remember Treu had C hips

The way i see it is that Treu must of been above average, to be used in the Czech Border Patrol, along with Bojar...!

Did you know they (cz border) used Bojar in the wolf breeding program.
People think the  CZ  B P  did right with all their breeding but they did not. My opinion
is they became known only after they brought in the east german dogs. They did close line breedings at times and that was their hard dogs. Now the Czech dogs are no more then west german. Why no more wall

Yes John i recall you telling me about this a while back, that Bojar was used in this wolf breeding programme.
Treu and Bojar daughter(Pana z PS CS) produced Ciro z Pohranicni straze who has many titles..
Chuligan and Pluto have this on there paternal side, which these days is common bloodline in Czech/ Europe..
I always enjoyed visiting Jiri Novotny site viewing video's and study of these lines, when i first had an interest in DDR/CZECH dogs..!
