Don v. Trafalga was brought over to Australia in the mid 70's and had contributed plenty in producing some excellent specimens, who themselves produced hard aggressive dogs. So Trafalga kennels gets a thumbs up from me...

Dani these pics are excellent and thanks for sharing, i personally wish we could see more original nostalgic b/w photos..
The first time i seen Held Ritterberg got me hooked on the DDR lines..!

Pozele astea sunt excelente, multumiri pt postari, personal imi doresc sa putem vedea mai multe poze alb-negreu clasice..
Prima data cand am vazut poza cu Held Ritterberg am ramas legat de cainii DDR...!

I know exactly what you mean, when I first saw the picture below I remember I posted in a different forum "I wish this dog would still be alive, I would breed all my females to that dog"

Then of course there is/was Rex Haus Iris.. but I don't know why, when I look at pictures of Rex.. for some reason I am tempted to think he was not a great deal in terms of temperament.. needless to say, I could be very wrong.

ok... this has got to be the golden 'touch', check this out:

un clip super reprezentativ pt rasa:

[youtube:1hr0ufb8]1O-vFf0ewBo[/youtube:1hr0ufb8]

Maybe in the years to come more people who have footage like this will make the videos available for many to see. So far the Lord Gleisdreieck I think was the best...

Sper ca in anii care vin mai multi detinatori de astfel de secvente video clasice sa le posteze pe net sa le poata vedea cat mai multi. Pana acum cele cu Lord Gleisdreieck mi se par cele mai tari.

I feel the same way about Held.  That to me is about as good as it gets.

Imi plac ultimele secunde in care cainele este provocat.cu cata violenta ataca.

I love the last seconds in the clip, where the dog is being provoked. he shows good aggressiveness.
