Title: Wanted - Dog Handler

It is important to establish first that the proposed handler enjoys dogs and has an affinity with the animal. A dog will quickly sense if a person is insecure- if this is the case, the dog will not work to its full potential no matter how good the training.

It is advisable to select a person who has had some experience with dogs, either as a handler or who has owned a pet.

Dog handling can often be a lonely occupation. Thus, the candidate should be able to work with minimum supervision and be happy in his or own company and that of his or her dog.

He or she must not be a loner or introverted. He or she must be self-confident and able to work within a team.

Dog handling is an arduous occupation requiring the handler to be strong and fit. His or her work will be carried out in a variety of climatic conditions and, over the period of a shift, he or she will possibly need to walk many miles.

The said selected personnel for the position as Dog Handler should progress below:

1.   The basic knowledge of dog handling should either in Security Patrol Work / Man-Tracking Dog / Detection Work,
2.   Able to perform Obedience Training will always a plus point,
3.   Willing to perform any shift as request … routine / emergency,
4.   Good attitude and willing to learn,
5.   Age between 21 to 45,
6.   Valid passport for at least another 02 years validation,
7.   Speak fairly and write minimum English

In return, our Company will provide:

1.   Monthly salary of at least RM1, 200.00 (EURO300.00) during probation and is subject to working permit approval,
2.   Monthly salary of at least RM1, 400.00 (EURO350.00) next review,
4.   Gratuity of minimum RM1, 200.00 (EURO300.00) will be given after every 02 years of continue service,
5.   Air-ticket from Germany to Miri, Sarawak and via versa.
6.   Return air-ticket will be provide after 24 months of continue service,
7.   Basic Medical Care on common sickness,
8.   01 set of working uniform / training T-shirt / shoes will be provided on a yearly basic,
9.   Working hour not more than 12 hours per shift, however, when required, over-time will be applied according to the Sarawak State Labour Law for foreign worker,
10.   Standard accommodation with basic set-up,
11.   Kitchen basic cooking ware will be provided,
12.   In-house Training Program / Oversea Training Program


The Job Function

1.   To practice / training / learning and maintaining good skill in dog handling apart from the security duty assignment.
2.   Kennel Cleaning on roster,
3.   Kennel feeding on roster,
4.   Dog bathing – individual dog handler,
5.   Dog Care – individual dog handler,
6.   To perform security duties as assigned with your k9 partner or in a team,

In primul rand este esential ca potentialul handler de caine de serviciu sa sa fie un om caruia ii plac cainii si are o afinitate pt animal. Un caine va simti daca o persoana e nesigura, iar intr-un asemenea caz, el nu va lucra la potential maxim, indiferent de dresajul parcurs cu el.

Este de preferat o persoana care are experienta cu cainii, fie ca adresat sau a detinut unul.

Lucrul cu cainele poate fi de multe ori o activitate singuratica/izolatoare. Prin urmare, handlerul trebuie sa stie sa lucreze cu minima supraveghere si sa se bucure de compania propriei persoane si cea a cainelui.

El sau ea, nu trebuie sa fie un introvert, ci sa fie capabil / capabila sa lucreze in echipa.

Lucrul cu cainele e o ocupatie care cere conditie fizica buna din partea handlerului. El sau ea (handlerul) va trebui sa munceasca in diferite conditii climatice si uneori sa parcurga distante mari, pe jos.


Mai jos sunt prezentate lucrurile cerute de la un potential lucrator cu cainele.

1.   Cunostintele de baza in lucrul cu cainele ar trebui sa fie in Lucrul de Patrula / Securitate / Caine de Urma / Caine Detectie
2.   Abilitatea de a efectua de a efectua antrenament de disciplina cu cainele e intotdeauna un bonus
3.   Dispozitia de a lucra in schimb de tura, situatii de urgenta etc
4.   Atitudine pozitiva si dorinta de a invata
5.   varsta intre 21 si 45,
6.   Pasaport valabil cel putin inca 2 ani, de la inceperea lucrului
7.   Sa vorbeasca decent / scrie cat de cat Engleza

Iar Firma noastra va asigura:

1.   Salariul lunar minim de RM1, 200.00 (EURO300.00) in timpul perioadei de proba iar permisul de munca e in asteptare,
2.   Salariul lunar minim de RM1, 400.00 (EURO350.00) dupa evaluare,
4.   Bonus de RM1, 200.00 (EURO300.00) va fi oferit dupa fiecare 02 ani de munca continua,
5.   Bilet de avion din Germania la Miri, Sarawak si inapoi.
6.   Biletul de intoarcere va fi oferit dupa 24 luni de munca,
7.   Asistenta Medicala oferita pt cazuri generale de boala,
8.   01 set uniforma de lucru / tricou de antrenament / incaltaminte de lucru o data pe an
9.   Timpul de lucru, nu mai mult de 12 ore pe tura, dar, cand e cazul, supra-lucrul va fi abordat conform prevederilor Statului Sarawak, pt muncitori straini,
10.   Cazare standard cu utilitatile de baza,
11.   Bucatarie cu utilitatile de baza,
12.   Program de pregatire interioara / program pregatire internationala


Fisa postului

1.   Practica / antrenamentul / invatarea si mentinerea unor aptitudini bune in lucrul cu cainele, pe langa cerintele lucrului de securitate.
2.   Intretinerea padocului
3.   Hranirea cainelui
4.   spalarea cainelui – fiecare handler cu cainele desemnat
5.   intretinerea cainelui – fiecare handler cu cainele desemnat,
6.   Prestarea de servicii de securitate dupa cum i s-a cerut, cu cainele sau parte intr-o echipa
