Mai exista si alt mod de alimentatie, si anume BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food).
In mare, este une regim bazat pe carne cruda + legume + fructe
Bineinteles, nu toata lumea poate sa-si permita asa un regim, pt ca este mult mai costisitor... Eu una nu pot sa mi-l permit, chiar daca sunt convinsa ca e mai bun decat mancarea uscata speciala pt caini. Etanei mele îi dau Royal Canin Adult si sunt f multumita (si ea lafel).

carnea cruda este mult mai sanatoasa decat carnea fiarta iar digestia este de doua ori mai ridicata la carnea cruda deoarece prin fierbere proteina isi schimba structura
Raw meat is much healthier than cooked meat and digestion is twice as high in raw meat because by boiling the protein changes it's structure.

Well said Santos. Quickly utilised in the system with less cleaning up.. Want to ask you guys; would total Raw Diet minus the Dry Food be a good idea for a young dog .?

Superpremium dog food contains everything they need and is a quick way to give your dog what it needs during the growing period and not only then. Raw Diet require both time and financial resources and attention to prepare a healthy meal for our dogs. Personally, I never totally used this method, but it helped me to provide a varied diet for my dog, along with superpremium food.

Would it be a health issue in feeding raw animal organs on a daily basis ? Such as hearts liver ang giblets and so on..

I thought that with the extra iron and benefits of protein with mimimal fat, would be of benefit. The reason why i asked was because i seen on a particuliar site, the they only fed there dogs once a fortnight 'organ' meats such as liver... Was wondering why only a fortnight they were fed this, so thought i'd ask you guys about this.. Looks like i have to cut back on the livers... :rolleyes:

Too much liver has high levels of Vit A & D which is toxic. Small amounts not so frequent is best..
Prea mult ficat inseamna cantitate ridicata de vitaminele A si D ceea ce e toxic. In cantitati mai mici si nu dese, este f bun.
