« on: February 05, 2011, 11:06:14 AM »
Hi list, what can u see on this picture when dogs are group together in a small place?  Any good?

We do this a lot ... in-fact, all our dogs MUST go through this level of training, which cost me a lot, a simple but expensive in cost when thing went wrong!

Yes, I agreed that the pictures and posing look cool but behind all these, there are hard works and expensive lessons!

This is one hell of good exercise we have being doing since 2004!  It help on the dog to stay focus to their owner/handler rather than other dogs!

The most costly part on this exercise is we may have some dogs' fight and cost one to lose their ear or some physical damages!

I knew what cost you were talking about when I saw them in the wagon..lol    I have pairs of dogs that can be together, but I have never let two males together, just too hard to break up a fight by myself.
I think it is a great exercise, Leo, not just that it looks cool, I see the practicality of it for sure.

Wink!

I am now doing it with muzzle to start with and eventually, to remove the muzzle, which it help me a lot on saving "life"!  And also, I will do the line-up with a male and female side by side, slowly move the other male closer!  If ever they still fight, I will do additional exercise make them submitted to each other ... have one of them "lay" on top of the other for some 10 minutes and change via versa!

Of course, one cannot handler many dogs while doing this exercise, therefore ... one dog one handler!  Best if you start doing it at puppies age, then one can save a lot of hassle when the pups turn adult!
